Indonesia is almost everyone's favorite tropical destination
Not to seem condescending, but many people are unaware that Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim country. Indonesia's islands, beaches, and cultural attractions lure millions of visitors each year, making it the standard shot of a tropical paradise. Religious diversity is part of Indonesia's rich legacy; the country is home to over 200 religions, including Hinduism, Christianity, and Confucianism. The country's many monuments, mosques, temples, and vernacular architecture demonstrate its diversity.

Morocco is a cross-continental wonder
Few countries can compete with Morocco's allure. Morocco has a European flavour in its huge African heart; Moroccans speak French and Arabic and appreciate wine as much as sheesha. Morocco is both desert and sea, urban and nomadic; captivating to the point of obsession. Islam is at the heart of Moroccan culture, and cities such as Marrakesh and Fes have some of the most exquisite examples of Islamic architecture in the world.

Kosovo is one of the world's most recent countries
In 2008, Kosovo emerged from one of the world's worst humanitarian crises to become the world's newest country. Although its claim to sovereignty is still being contested, Kosovo is recognised by over a hundred countries. Travellers frequently rank Kosovo as one of the friendliest places on the earth. With lovely towns, wide countryside, and historic cities, the little landlocked country is picturesque in an Eastern-European sort of way.

Why you should visit Kosovo
Nicholas, a Tripoto regular, has this to say about Kosovo
"Since the first moment after we got off the bus we were surprised, walking through the stoned streets felt absolutely lovely, everybody smiled and greeted us as we passed by. It was evident we were foreigners and the locals were quite delighted every time visitors from outside came after the long years of war. I guess I can better summarize it with the warm and happy feeling I got after I was standing on the curb, waiting to cross the street, and an old man with kindness in his eyes gently looked at me and along his warm smile he gave me a very soft pad on the back as saying “we are very happy that you are here”.
How hazardous is it?
A little because of its location. However, tourism in Kosovo has been incident-free throughout its history. Overall, Kosovo is no more dangerous than other Asian countries, however travel to Northern Kosovo is often discouraged.
Iran, the world's most misunderstood country
The intention of this piece is mostly justified by Iran's media reputation. Anyone who has visited Iran (I haven't yet) praises about the warmth, food, and diversity of the country. The country makes an impression, especially given the image that is frequently associated with Iran.
Why should you go to Iran?
For perspective. And then there are the mountains. The only surviving relic of Persian culture. The dolphins of Queshm, Shiraz's mausoleums, waterfalls, and hot springs. Look at how lovely Iran is.
How hazardous is it?
There is nothing to be concerned about in terms of mortal safety. However, visiting Iran can make it harder to visit other countries. The United States recently issued a temporary travel restriction (which has since been lifted) on travellers travelling from Iran (and six other Muslim nations), which could hinder international travel. According to the UN study, Iran's average homicide rate is 4.8 per 100,000 people, which is just slightly higher than the United States (4.62 per 100,000).
Jordan is a place unlike any other
Jordan's towering Wadis and ancient cities hidden inside them are an earthly treasure unlike any other. Jordan has a millennium-long history and is home to some of the world's most enduring structures and towns. Jordan is framed on the south by the Dead Sea, which has a jaw-dropping coastline.
Jordan is also one of the world's richest countries. The inhabitants are prosperous, however the pressure of the recent surge of Syrian refugees is obvious along the country's western border cities.
Why you should go to Jordan?
There are so many reasons. The Dead Sea, Wadi Rum, Petra, and Biblical history are all highlights.
How hazardous is it?
According to the UN assessment, Jordan is far safer than the United States and many other travel-friendly countries such as Vietnam and South Korea. However, an incident occurred in the city of Karak in December 2016. However, visitors to Jordan have continued to visit without issue.
